  3. Surgical masks are generally more protective than cloth masks, and some people find them lighter and more comfortable to wear.

  4. Countries with cultural norms or government policies favoring mask-wearing have lower death rates.

  5. Masks can reduce the risk of Covid-19 by 65%.
